2008 APHA/AQHA Eligible Bay Overo Stallion

We have received information that this stallion has an eye issue. When he was a yearling he hit his eye and it needed to be treated according to one source.

Another said it was an issue with tear ducts and not enough secretion. We have examined the horse, he had normal secretions from both eyes at the time. He is turned out with no cover in the sun, wind, dirt and flies and appears normal and is receiving no treatment of any sort.

If you look closely at the yearling photo it does indeed look like he had hit his eye and we know it was treated at the time.

This horse is going to be vet inspected today 08/12/11 and if there are any different findings, we will post them here. I personally think this is a non issue but we want to disclose everything we know about the horses since Rey is not here to answer questions.

Will not take much to get this gentleman back into the show pen. NICE NICE horse to be around. See his filly out of Touchdown Sadie #1

We will be listing these horses for our friend Andrea Grimes who is the daughter of my friend Rey Ramirez who has passed away unexpectedly.

Andrea will be taking offers on the horses and we will post the current prices offered so folks know what they have to bid. Some of these horses have paperwork pending so please read the notes on each one carefully. We will update each horse as additional information and forms are filed.

Many of these mares are open or have unregistered get as we are in the process of catching everything up. I loved Rey but paperwork was not his strong suit. He would much rather have been out with his girls or visitors talking horses.
